Scar then lost his frown and mewed, "Well, you are welcome to stay here. I wished you would have said that first." He smiled and then began to pad away, his huge scar on his flank open from fighting the wolf.

Patch nodded gratefully.

"Wait, you're hurt!" Tiny called, trotting after him.

Scar turned and face Tiny, "When you have been in as many battles as I have, you dont worry about a cut like this." He mewed.

"But it could get infected!" Tiny argued.

Scar sighed, "It could, but I am old. What would it matter?" Scar mewed as he flopped down onto the ground with a huff.

" you're not old! Either way, you still need to take care of yourself!" Tiny frowned. "Right, Patch?" she said, turning to Patch.

Patch padded up to th large tiger, "Yes, it is important."

Scar looked from Tiny to Patch and finally mewed, "Alright."

Tiny grinned and bounded away in search for herbs.

Patch watched Tiny bound away into the forest.

Scar glanced warily around him and just sighed.

Tiny came back with her jaws full of herbs and cobwebs wrapped thickly on her right front paw.

Scar saw that Tiny had come back with jaws full of herbs, "Oh by the way, my name is Scar."

Patch heard Scar talking and he mewed, "You may already know, but I am Patch."

"I am Tiny." the small lioness mewed, starting to chew and apply the herbs.

"Where were you two from?" Scar mewed, wincing as the stinging juices flowed into his wound.

Tiny trembled as she remembered the cages she used to live in at the place two legs called the circus. She was abused and starved when Patch had helped escape.

Scar saw that he hit a rough patch when he asked Tiny that question, "I am sorry, I-I didnt know."

"it's okay." tiny whispered, forcing a smile onto her face.

"Dont force anything. I can tell." Scar mewed.

Patch padded up to Tiny and gave her a gentle lick on her head.

Tiny frowned. Scar was sharp. She leaned against Patch, finding comfort in his warmth.

Scar felt that he was being a bit harsh, "Sorry." He mewed, his head down.

Patch let Tiny lean on him, considering her like a daughter he never had.

Tiny smiled. "It's okay, I know you didn't mean any harm."

Scar nodded. He then stood up after Tiny put the herbs on his wound, "Thank you, Tiny."

Patch smiled to Scar.

"You're welcome. You shouldn't run or overexert yourself for a while." she instructed.

Patch laughed and barked, "Not as much as you did Scar."
